Question 14

Post  Kathleen on Wed Dec 03, 2008 5:02 pm

The solution posted already for question 14 IS correct, however they just forgot a parentheses at the end

So, the answer should be

g*sqrt((Deltamu/mu)^2+(Deltak/k)^2)

at least that is what worked for me

question 7

Post  help1 on Wed Dec 03, 2008 6:31 pm

for the error of k, I found K, max slope, and the min slope then averaged the 3 numbers to find k average.
then used [sqrt((k-k_average)^2+(max-k_average)^2+(min-k_average)^2)]/(n*(n-1) for n(n-1) was 3(2)=6
this is what I used I'm not sure if its right but maybe it helps

Don't you need an error in frequency for DeltaK for 7? There is no table for that value however...so what do we use to find the max and min slope?
