how do you find the two velocities in this table, it's different from the previous questions but i'm not sure what to do

How do we neglect Delta M / M? Is it just Delta V/V? (Delta W/ W)? If so, which w do we use, the small or big glider?

I know that you are supposed to use the inelastic KE for number 40 but I tried that and it didn't work but I calculated the ratio from the inelastic KE and entered it into 38 and it came out correct on maple even though for 38 I was supposed to use the elastic KE to calculate the ratio. However, now my problem is that 40 isn't working with the elastic or inelastic numbers anyone have any idea what the situation could be with that? SERIOUSLY NEED HELP IF ANYONE COULD HELP THAT WOULD BE GREAT!

I keep getting some rather large numbers for question 38 and 40. When I enter them, maple TA says the numbers are incorrect.

This is what I did:

KEi-KEi'=X

Then
X/sqrt(DeltaKE^2+DeltaKEi^2)= 20 something
What the hell is going on here?????? Why cant I get the answer, what am I doing wrong?!?!?!?!?

also is deltavi/vi the same as delta viprime/viprime?

DId anyone get number 1 right? ive tried it a few times and plugged numbers into both equations to figure it out and i cant manage to get it right..
