Lab 2 #3

Use the animation tutorial from the following website to show you how to calculate the values. As for the units, it should be V for Volts and s for seconds and these units will ONLY be marked correct when the values are correct. MapleTA does not grade the units and values separately!

1) Voltage, Time

2)A=1 B=4 c=3 d=5 g=6 h=2

3)

4)sqrt(deltaV_high^2+deltaV_low^2)

5)

6)sqrt(deltat_L^2+deltat_R^2)

7)deltaT_N/N

reading # 3 and 5

Post  JJ on Mon Feb 09, 2009 4:10 pm

reading the graphs are pretty easy, the y axis is volts and the x axis is time, but the value for each division of the axis are changeable, in the question it tells you what each division is set at, the rest is just counting, so if the y division is set for 3 volts and the x division is set for 1 s, a rectangle 3 boxes high by 2 boxes wide would be 9 volts over 2 seconds.... i hope that helps, if not watch the video cause she explains it pretty well

Error of the Frequency

Post  k8nl8 on Mon Feb 09, 2009 9:27 pm

To get the error of the frequency you:
divide the T(period) error by the T(period) value. then multiply by the Frequency value. tada!

Prep Quiz 3, 5

Post  vdot on Tue Feb 10, 2009 11:02 am

Here's my issue:

3. I've gone through the videos... and I thought I understood what she was doing when she was calculating but I'm at a complete lost. I'm having several issues -- I think my counting is off, is there anyway to explain how to retrieve the values. Also, it keeps marking my units wrong, is isnt the voltage in V and the time in s?

5. I'm not even sure how to approach this problem...

Please help!! No
oh physics!!
