grooves/inch * inch/0.0254meters = answer, units = 1/m

1 meter/ answer from part a units = m

The first box on this page is just the formula,
so dsin(theta) = m*lambda (put into the box whats in bold.)

The answers for two are pretty much already posted. For three the answer comes directly from the question. They tell you E = hc/lambda = 13.6 * (1/2^2 - 1/n^2) . All you have to do is rearrange and substitute. Then go to : rydberg constant. It will be in giant bold letters and numbers. Highlight that and hit ctrl+c then go back into maple ta and press ctrl+v. Those are the shortcuts for copy and paste. And then for the last part the answer is the smae things as 1097928374-1097928374=x where x is the answer.

1/(Answer from the previous part) m

Question 2:

m*lambda
1.051. If different, plug in your values into the above equation.
m=2. If different, play around with the choices.
0.712. If different, plug in your values into the above equation.
Visible. If different, play around with the choices.

Question 3:

1/(h*c)
1.097E7m^-1
