Questions 1-11
Question 1: Table (Use F = m*g, and k = F/x)
Question 2: DeltaT = .5*(Deltak/k)*T
Question 3: Table (T_theor = 2*pi*sqrt(m/k), and DeltaT_theor = .5(Deltak/k)*T_theor)
Question 4: Graph, find slope
Question 5: Use equation: (Your slope - 1)/(Error of slope)
Question 6: Table
Question 7: v_0 = w/t
Deltav/v = Deltaw/w
Question 8: DeltaPE_max = sqrt((Deltak/k)^2+(2*Deltax/x)^2)*PE_max
Question 9: DeltaKE_max = 2*(Deltaw/w)*KE_max
Question 10: Table
Question 11: Use equation: (PE_max - KE_max)/(sqrt(DeltaPE_max)^2 + DeltaKE_max)^2))
And you're done! Now wasn't that easy?

units
units
m=kg
x=m
f=N
k=N/m
M=kg
t=s
width=m
v=m/s
PE+KE=J
for the slope since it's s/s, i guess it should be none~
hope this helps

for number 4
my slope was .170
so which error sounds more right, .01 or .001?

Re: leb report 7 execution
hey
do we need to make graphs? cause there are no graph papers, and my TA didn't mention anything about graphs !!

ques10
for ques 10, when calc Pe_max what do we use for x_0 (initial/equilibrium position)?

question 8
I'm using DeltaPE_max = sqrt((Deltak/k)^2+(2*Deltax/x)^2)*PE_max, but it's not working..am I doing something wrong?

graph
quick question... for the graph, which goes on the x axis and which goes on the y axis?

Question 3
I'm having problems calculating the T_Theor. I know the formula is 2*pi*sqrt(m/k). i know the mass is suppose to be the glider and attached mass. but everytime i try it i get it wrong. can someone offer ideas on what i might be doing wrong...

Re: leb report 7 execution
For the graph you should have a solid "best fit" line and then dashed lines showing the error. As for the error bar you only need to draw them for the Ttheor I believe, which ever the manual says.
Try calculating the sqrt(m/k) first then multiply it by (2pi).
As for axis labels try looking through previous posts (Hint: It's a few before this one)

Re: leb report 7 execution
are u sure about this??
X is Tmeas and Y is Ttheor
cause i get the slope wrong this way
when ireverse it i get t right ??
